About me
I’m running to represent District 5 in the State House, representing communities from Cordova, Seward, to Kodiak.
My roots are in the coastal communities of our district. My Mom’s side of the family is from Cordova, and my husband’s family goes back 70 years in Kodiak. I grew up commercial fishing in Prince William Sound, and have been an educator in Kodiak since 1996.
We have been fortunate to have a representative that has used a bipartisan approach to deliver for our infrastructure, fisheries, schools, and ferries. I intend to advocate in the legislature for our communities in the same way because I care deeply and know working together will bring the most benefits to our coastal homes.
