My roots run deep in the coastal communities of our district. My Mom’s side of the family is from Cordova, and my husband’s family goes back 70 years in Kodiak. I grew up commercial fishing in Prince William Sound, and was an educator in Kodiak for three decades.

We have been fortunate to have a representative that has used a bipartisan approach to deliver for our infrastructure, fisheries, schools, and ferries. I intend to advocate in the legislature for our communities in the same way because I care deeply and know working together will bring the most benefits to our coastal families.
