Kathy Simpler is a 30-year educator, longtime commercial fisherman, mom, and lifelong community volunteer who will bring practical, independent leadership to Juneau.

Kathy grew up commercial fishing in Prince William Sound out of Cordova and raised her family in Kodiak. She is running to make sure coastal Alaska has a strong voice in Juneau and to fight for strong public schools, healthy fisheries, reliable ferries, lower costs, and good local jobs.
